Mental Wellness & Connections (MWC)
We aim to help Westview High School students reach their full potential by managing stress, staying productive, and contributing to their communities. The Mental Wellness and Connections (MWC) Committee brings events to campus to help students de-stress and connect with peers.
The MWC supports parents and caregivers by sponsoring evening Real Talk events with speakers on wellness and stress management for teens and adults and social gatherings to connect with other families and the administration, fostering a sense of community.
To show appreciation for our teachers and staff, the MWC decorates the staff lounge each month and has provided a coffee cart for their relaxation and enjoyment. Additionally, wellness and connection activities are offered to ensure they feel supported in their vital roles.

Everyone needs support from time to time. You're not alone, and it's okay to not be okay. We all experience moments of sadness, anxiety, frustration, or anger. If you or your loved ones need help or someone to talk to, please make use of the resources listed below.
The Westview counseling staff in the Wolverine Center is available to support students with mental health concerns, as well as to assist parents who are worried about their children.
"Mental Health includes our emotional, psychological and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood."
